Of the 15 ski areas in the vicinity of Lake Tahoe, Homewood is the closest to the water.
The views are spectacular.

One can pretty much point a camera anywhere and it will look like a postcard.

Not only does Homewood have the views, it also has
the goods in the form of some very fun terrain.

The mountain has several runs where it feels as if you'll ski right into the water.

I felt right at home at the other "Wood."
