Oct 2004, Early Season Skiing in Utah - Ski Streak.com
World Record Ski Streak--Most continuous weeks AND months of downhill skiing ever recorded ©

Oct: with and without lifts. When I skied the early season snow in mid-October I had no idea it would keep snowing for the next 7 or 8 days. All of this snow enabled Brighton's earliest opening in about 20 years.

October 18th in Albion Basin at Alta - A very good start on the season.

Not bad coverage for the first storm of the season.

A week later and the snow hasn't stopped. There are so many hikers in Alta's
lower parking lot that one might think they decided to open a month early.

The two checkmarks help point out towers of the new Collins chairlift. The upper arrow
points to an unending line of snowboarders and skiers climbing to track up the new powder.

3 days later, this is how the Tetons look.
