The drive was so long that I got a little drowsy until I saw this sign. The red-nosed reindeer warning sign woke me up.
Just what one might expect from a Utah ski area: A couple feet of fresh powder and not many people on the hill.
Just as I arrived, a gaggle of patrollers came out of the base shack carrying a skeleton.
They placed it on the chairlift, laughed, took turns sitting next to it, and then carried it back to the building. I have no clue what it was about.
At the base.
Pristine powder, just waiting for me.
Only about a thou of vert, but what they've got is a fine local's hill.
